Antique brass filigree, nickle-free earwires

Clay Pendants
Hand made by Paula Fredericks from mixed clay, cut, shaped and rolled at the top with a wheat design pressed in each one. Pendant hangs on a leather string attached through a small curved brass tube.

Bottle Necklaces
Each bottle hand-assembled by Paula Fredericks containing sand and stones from the South Shore of Nova Scotia and wheat from just outside Kim’s hometown of Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Each bottle is corked with a drop of resin to secure contents. The delicate bottles hang from a leather necklace thread through a small brass hook. This piece celebrates both the coastal and prairie landscapes that influence Kim’s songwriting and personal journey.

Lockets
Brass locket contains a grain of wheat in the right hand compartment and lyrics from Kim’s song “Warrior” on the left. The lyrics are a positive affirmation of inner strength and a reminder to be less hard on ourselves: “I am my own warrior, my own judgement, my own scorn.” Locket hangs from a long brass/gold chain.
